FREE YOGA for ADULTS

Yoga is an ancient system of exercise developed to slow down the process of aging and improve physical and mental abilities. It involves the practice of specific postures (asanas), proper breathing, relaxation and positive thinking (meditation).
 
Physical benefits of yoga:  improves flexibility of the spine, tones the muscles, boosts immune system, removes toxins from the body by stimulating the lymphatic system, restores balance, stimulates organs and systems, reduces tension of the muscles, gives energy
 
Mental Benefits of Yoga: improves mood, sense of well being, concentration, focus, memory, attention and learning efficiency; decreases anxiety and depression; increases somatic and kinaesthetic awareness, self-acceptance, self-actualization; brings inner peace
You don’t need to be flexible and fit to start enjoying Yoga and its benefits. Yoga IS for everyone. You will be guided to practice at your own level and ability. Regular practice of Yoga will improve your physical and mental health, increase your flexibility and co-ordination, help you lose weight, reduce stress levels, bring peace and harmony into your life. Yoga is an embodied practice that will help you connect with your body and help you live as a more embodied human being, rather than being stuck in your head. Mala CHERGA’s approach emphasises listening to your body, self-compassion and empathy towards yourself and a non-competitive attitude, rather than distancing from yourself and your body with self-criticism and competitiveness.

  Somatic Movement & Authentic Embodied Dance helps         you creatively engage with body, emotions, emotional and           cognitive processes through dance and movement. It allows       you to safely explore and express yourself and what you may     not be able to fully put into words. It guides you in creating a       felt sense of safety within your own body – befriending your         body with self-compassion rather than distancing from it with       self-criticism. Your body can be  your greatest teacher when       you take the time and space to learn from it. Somatic                   Movement & Authentic Embodied Dance invites you to move       freely without rules, letting you fully express yourself and             experience the joy of movement. The blend of creativity and       physical release boosts your mood and energy, making every     dance session a refreshing and uplifting experience. Whether     you are feeling stressed, anxious, or just a little out of sync,         our sessions can help you reconnect with your body, release       tension, and improve your mental and emotional health.
 When you dance, you’re not just moving your body; you’re         also expressing yourself, connecting with your emotions, and     letting go of stress and tension, developing embodied and           authentic way of being-in-the-world

YOU CAN ATTEND IN-PERSON & ONLINE CLASSES IF YOU HAVE SUBMITTED YOUR REGISTRATION FORM. The form needs to be submitted at 23.59 h at the latest a day before the morning class or 5 pm on the day of the evening class. 

Once you register you will receive confirmation email from jotform.com with an attached document containing all the important information about the classes and zoom links for online classes. Please check your 'spam', 'junk', or 'other' folder if you cannot see confirmation email from jotfrom.com in your inbox.

Somatic Movement and Authentic Embodied Dance consists of a gentle warm up, guided dance improvisations and movement meditations exploring themes relevant to your life, developing awareness and deeper connection with your own body, emotions and world around. The sessions will help you discover resources within you to help you navigate your daily life, deal with challenges and feel more alive, present and empowered. Whether you are feeling stressed, anxious, or just a little out of sync, sessions can help you reconnect with your body, release  tension, and improve your mental and emotional health. When you dance, you’re not just moving your body; you’re        also expressing yourself, connecting with your emotions, and letting go of stress and tension, developing embodied and authentic way of being-in-the-world.
