You don’t need to be flexible and fit to start enjoying Yoga and its benefits. Yoga IS for everyone. You will be guided to practice at your own level and ability. Regular practice of Yoga will improve your physical and mental health, increase your flexibility and co-ordination, help you lose weight, reduce stress levels, bring peace and harmony into your life. Yoga is an embodied practice that will help you connect with your body and help you live as a more embodied human being, rather than being stuck in your head. Mala CHERGA’s approach emphasises listening to your body, self-compassion and empathy towards yourself and a non-competitive attitude, rather than distancing from yourself and your body with self-criticism and competitiveness.

Somatic Movement and Authentic Embodied Dance consists of a gentle warm up, guided dance improvisations and movement meditations exploring themes relevant to your life, developing awareness and deeper connection with your own body, emotions and world around. The sessions will help you discover resources within you to help you navigate your daily life, deal with challenges and feel more alive, present and empowered. Whether you are feeling stressed, anxious, or just a little out of sync, sessions can help you reconnect with your body, release tension, and improve your mental and emotional health. When you dance, you’re not just moving your body; you’re also expressing yourself, connecting with your emotions, and letting go of stress and tension, developing embodied and authentic way of being-in-the-world.
